Acceptable Use Policy - Simple Terms
The following policy outlines the acceptable use of the server on HostForADollar.com. Any violation
of this policy can cause any one of the following consequences: Warning, Termination of Service, Legal
Action, or any other action that is appropriate at the time.
Unsolicited E-Mail
Simply put: HostForADollar.com will not tolerate any use of this service to send mass, unsolicited
e-mail of any form. This will be defined by what society commonly refers to as SPAM. There will be
no exceptions to this policy and it will result in immediate termination of service. In addition,
HostForADollar.com reserves the right the charge up to $500 per offense to recover any financial
damages.
Content
Adult content is allowed on this service as long as it is LEGAL (as defined by Federal and State
terms) and adheres to your allowed storage space and bandwidth. Any form of illegal content such
as warez, anti-copy protection, racist, or other illegal/harmful sites will not be allowed or
tolerated. Any decision made to terminate service based on content will be made solely by
HostForADollar.com and will adhere to the strictest non-discriminatory polices. HostForADollar.com
reserves the right to change what is considered allowable content on this server at any time. Sufficient
notice will be given to any change in this policy.
Excessive Use/Server Abuse
Since this is a shared hosting environment, each site hosted here must behave in a manner that is fair
to the other hosted sites. All bandwidth use and storage use must be kept within the limits of your given
hosting plan. Background processes must be kept to a minimum or processing usage and may not contain BOT
programs that may be harmful to others or to the server.
Hacking/Network Intrusion
At no time will HostForADollar.com tolerate any hacking activities originating from or targeting our
servers for any purpose be it educational or malicious. Any hacking activities will cause immediate
termination of service and all related information turned over to local authorities.
Violations of this Policy
As stated above, any violation of this policy will result in an action deemed necessary by
HostForADollar.com and is not limited to what was listed above.
Disclaimer/Indemnification
You (the Customer) will not hold HostForADollar.com, any of it's employees, subsidiaries or families
liable for any harm, damages, personal/property injury, losses, costs, claims, fees. You use this
service at your own risk. Since this service is connected to the public internet, HostForADollar.com
cannot be held liable for any loss of service or income relating to such an unpredictable environment.
However, HostForADollar.com will make every effort to keep such losses of service from happening.
